ALEX BRAGA IS AN EVOLUTIONAL ARTIST AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PIONEER
Alex Braga is the first artist to use a revolutionary new instrument called A-MINT.
A-MINT is the first adaptive Artificial Intelligence working in real-time for the artist to explore infinite audio/visual creativity .
An Hyperloop of creation multiplying notes, visuals, arrangements, layers, to plus infinity : this is the signature style of EVOLUTIONAL ART.
Alex Braga created A-MINT with professors Antonino Laudani and Francesco Riganti from University ROMATRE .
Alex Braga has been touring as a solo artist with A-Mint and performing all over the world, among other places as a headliner at Ars Electronica, Mutek Festival, or in duet along with “hacked” star pianists such as Niklas Paschburg, Francesco Tristano, Boosta or Danilo Rea .
The new solo performance debuted at Ars Electronica in Linz, Sept. 5th 2019, where Alex Braga received NOMINATION for category S+T+ARTS=STARTS, the special honoring of the European Commission for innovation in technology, industry and society stimulated by the arts.
His performances have been supported by Google Arts&Culture and have been world widely acclaimed from the prestigious RomaEuropa Festival to SOnar, to the Centre Pompidou, the temple of contemporary art in Paris, where he was the closing act of the exibhition Codèr Le Monde alongside great masters like Ryoji Ikeda.
Alex Braga is also the founder of EVOLUTIONAL FESTIVAL, the first italian audiovisual festival on Artificial Intelligence.
The Artificial Intelligence A-MINT is also the first to enter Classical conservatories: Alex Braga is the first teacher of such instrument with his masterclass in Santa Cecilia, one of the oldest musical institutions in the world.

Few DJs and producers are as widely and universally acclaimed in techno circles as Italian Donato Dozzy.
He has a rare ability to work his way into peoples’ minds in both contemporary and classical settings, conjuring real mood and atmosphere. Never one to pay heed to the zeitgeist, he prefers to deal in hypnotic soundscapes that really take you on a trip. Enigmatic as he is, and laidback as he seems, as an artist he is constantly unveiling new work. Displaying a large variation in terms of sound and method across many new releases each year — some of which come on his co-owned label Spazio Disponibile — he also puts out installations for public spaces and museums, uses obscure musical instruments, collaborates with likeminded producers, classical singers or visual artists. Donato seems to continuously challenge himself on a creative level: whatever method he uses, though, he is always likely to permeate your cerebral cortex and rewire it in fascinating and compelling new ways.

A Tresor Treasure
Available in English and German, this book by Tresor traces the club’s 31-year history. Archival photos, flyers and more collage together a pivotal moment in the early ’90s when techno landed in Berlin, changing the city forever. Among the tome’s featured protagonists is the late Regina Baer, who co-founded Tresor and Kraftwerk and passed away earlier this year.

The French legend has also announced he’ll be stepping back from touring at the end of 2024
Laurent Garnier is releasing a new album in May. Out through his COD3 QR label, 33 Tours Et Puis S’en Vont is Garnier’s first solo LP since 2015’s La Home Box. It touches on techno, hip-hop, punk and drum & bass, and features cameos from 22Carbone, Alan Watts and the late Suicide vocalist Alan Vega. “This new album is the culmination of two years living in an era of doubt and uncertainty,” Garnier said. “But more than just an audit, it’s a return to my roots, a tribute to the dance floor and to techno music, in all its forms.” Garnier, who is 57, has also announced he’ll be stepping back from touring at the end of 2024 to avoid becoming “a dusty, old jukebox.” He added: “Although I might start visiting some countries, cities and festivals for the very last time sometime soon, I would like to make things clear: I will remain a DJ for the rest of my life, because being a DJ is, above all, a visceral need for me to share the music I love, no matter what, in one way or another.” Audio from 33 Tours Et Puis S’en Vont will be available at a later date.

TERRAFORMA FESTIVAL
Villa Alconati ( Milano )
Terraforma will return to Villa Arconati on June 9-10-11 2023. After last July’s insanely intense edition, we’re more than motivated to bring the festival to a finer level. The first step is to anticipate the dates in order to avoid heat waves in a time of ever-rising global warming. The second consists in reducing the capacity of the festival, bringing it to what it was before the Pandemia. We don’t believe in growth at all costs, and these two steps will allow us to not overstress the environment of Villa Arconati’s green lands. For the present we are working hard to provide a better experience and to improve our capabilities to fulfill the community’s basic yet essential needs. Meanwhile we’re putting together the most diverse and shattering program ever, reintroducing workshops, panels, plus a new exhibition space.
The next Terraforma Festival changes date for 2023, this time in June, given the terrible heat of last year, VOIZ MAGAZINE was there, sweating, unable to sleep due to lack of shade in the campsite organized by the promoters, who with the word SUSTAINABLE have only made to suffer for lack of water, the showers had fixed times, therefore very long queues under the scorching sun, the only bar open with breakfast, it had very expensive food and ended early, always waiting about an hour in line before arriving and maybe don’t get what you want. The juices are delicious and healthy, even the expensive ones. But let’s get to the point, too many people.
